Arvo Pärt ǀ Robert Wilson: Adam’s Passion
Andy Sommer
In the spectacular setting of a former submarine factory in Talinn, Estonia in May 2015, American stage director Robert Wilson creates a poetic visual world in which the mystical language of the Estonian composer Arvo Pärt can cast its meditative spell. The Talinn Chamber Orchestra, the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and soloists perform Pärt’s Adam’s Lament, Miserere and Tabula Rasa, as well as Sequentia, a new work composed especially for this production.
