Balard, construire la défense française

Both an architectural challenge and human adventure, this new French-style ​“Pentagon” in Balard in south-west Paris is a project unlike any other, a challenge to high technology and security and the largest construction site in France in many years. For the first time, the French armed forces — army, air force and navy — will occupy the same site. A look back at this emblematic project undertaken by three architectural firms: Agence ANMA, Agence 2÷3÷4 and Agence Wilmotte & Associés.
