Throughout her presentation, Katharina Jeschke will introduce the Vienna-based IMZ – International Music + Media Centre, the international, member-centered organization + business network counting over 150 Members in 27 countries. The talk will give insights into the main IMZ activities, including audience development, organizing the IMZ Academy — a master class series for young and established professionals in the area of audiovisual music + dance production, and hosting Avant Première Music + Media Market, the international trade fair for cultural TV. Moreover, the talk will highlight the IMZ Online Services, a search engine + digital B2B marketplace for film license trading, bound to revolutionize the audiovisual industry and launching in September 2021.

As Secretary-General of the IMZ International Music + Media Centre, Katharina Jeschke is a curator, developer, and host of music film festivals and competitions worldwide. She has been a jury member at film festivals such as BANFF or the International Emmy Awards and draws on expertise in PR for cultural projects, artist management, and media production. She is the driving force and program developer of Avant Première Music + Media Market Berlin, presenting the latest music film productions for international broadcasting and coproduction.
