The film examines the censors themselves, redacted images, and missives from civil servants, examining these histories and practices in a protracted, poetic reevaluation of the moral and artistic implications of censorship. An experimental essay on the actions, customs, and historical practices of censorship in cinema — and the role of the spectator and the fragility of images.
