Paris, 1964. While on a short trip, Swiss painter and sculptor Alberto Giacometti asks his good friend James Lord, an American critic and a lover of the arts, to pose for him. Giacometti promises that it will take only a few days. Lord accepts his request before almost regretting his decision. This fiction film tells the touching and offbeat tale of friendship between two men, as seen through the eyes of Lord. A unique foray grazing the beauty, depth, and sometimes chaos of the artistic process.
