Home offers an intimate look at the latest music by the jazz group Papanosh. The group adds Roy Nathanson, a New York saxophonist and poet, and Napoleon Maddox, a rapper and beatboxer from Cincinnati, to create an enchanting, poetic show that asks a simple question: what does it mean to be home? The film playfully constructs a house in constant evolution, a household that changes in all sorts of ways, as it reveals the creative process, its progress, and the result. The music project is enhanced by a dynamic staging: a call for exchanges between onlookers and artists.
