Horea Pastina — The State of Thingsr

A glimpse inside the studio of renowned Romanian painter Horea Pastina (b. 1946). The artist describes his relationship with the reality around him and its transformation through painting. Closely connected with nature, Pastina is a professor and co-founder of the Prologue Group. His canvases depict the vegetation of an ideal garden, perhaps even the Garden of Eden: his flowers are not only beautiful, radiant and colourful, but induce a kind of meditation.
