Jeff Koons: Diary of a Seducer
Jill Nicholls
Welcome to the world of Jeff Koons, the world’s most expensive — not to mention most controversial and surprising — artist alive today. His monumental Balloon Dogs and giant flower puppies have become iconic, along with his rows of virgin vacuum cleaners and life-sized porcelain Michael Jackson with his chimpanze, Bubbles. Alan Yentob, Creative Director of the BBC, who met with the artist at the opening of his retrospective at New York’s Whitney Museum, attempts to find out what lies beneath the surface of the Koons phenomenon.
