“A few years ago, after listening to a Chinese storyteller, my mother decided to become a storyteller,” explains Amelia Nanni, French-Italian director. ​“But my father fell ill, and the Chatouilleuse d’Oreilles [Ear Tickler] lost her desire to tell stories. To pay tribute to her, I went to look for her Chinese storyteller.” A poetic film that is both personal and universal.
