The stage has been a veritable life raft for some people: Jessica, who suffers from mental health problems; Jacinte, who had a severe stroke; the Nadeau family from Thetford Mines, who practise amateur theatre; Maude, an adult with reduced mobility; Alejandro, a globetrotter and marginal from Argentina; and finally Shantey, a young Atikamekw native. Artists also discuss the role that art plays in their lives and in society as a whole.
