Le siècle de Le Corbusier
Juliette Cazanave
Architect and urban planner, Le Corbusier (1887 – 1965) revolutionized living conditions in crowded cities, imposing his modern conception of community life. Furthermore, he imagined a new kind of society, a new architectural aesthetic. Based on his accomplishments, writings and interviews, the film creates a dialogue between the man and his century, an era of world wars, ideologies and totalitarianism. This film marks the 50th anniversary of his death.
