Mittelnacht

A series of six videos, each associated with a character from an American state: Oliver, or Combine in Iowa; Louis over Nebraska; Agnes from Missouri; Adeline through Montana; Emma and North Dakota; Betty Made in Minnesota. The same event is retold from differing memories in the manner of Rashomon. The artist is pursuing her exploration of identity and narrative through a mix of images and texts from her personal archives, as well as found or borrowed material from film or the Internet.
