Mount Rundle is about coincidence, destiny, self-affirmation, and the unpredictable nature of the creative process. The video centers on a small landscape painting the artist made at the age of twelve. Unbeknownst to her at the time, she was painting a vision from her future: Mount Rundle, the iconic mountain that looms large over the Banff Centre for the Arts, where she would find herself in an artist residency twenty-five years later, experiencing a severe and poorly timed case of creative block.
