Planète Petrila
Andrei Dascalescu
In Petrila, a small mining town in Transylvania, Romania, a former miner turned militant uses art and the absurd to prevent local authorities from demolishing the historic buildings of one of the oldest coal mines, closed in 2015. Wishing to preserve the history and identity of his hometown, he strives to find new ways to save his community from an irreversible collapse.
