Les Belles Heures, the International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA), and ARTS.FILM are pleased to present Winds of Heaven, directed by Canadian filmmaker Michael Ostroff. This film takes you on a journey into the deep mystery and inner beauty of Emily Carr’s paintings. A lyrical, luminescent, and captivating impression of Carr’s life and her connection with the First Nations of the Northwest Coast of British Columbia.

Anne-Marie Bouchard
Anne-Marie Bouchard holds a PhD in Art History from the Université de Montréal (2009), where she taught art history from 2006 to 2014. Her area of specialization focuses on visual and artistic culture from 1850 to 1950. As Curator of Modern Art at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec from 2014 to 2024, she curated several exhibitions, including Helen McNicoll: An Impressionist Journey, 350 Years of Artistic Practices in Québec, and 1950: Québec Through the Lens of American Photojournalist Lida Moser. She is currently a lecturer in museology at Université Laval and is completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
