Révérence: projet Monarque
Jean-Nicolas Orhon
The process of creating a work that combines art and science. Steven Spazuk and Danielle Delhaes collected thousands of traces of monarch butterflies in their natural habitat using soot on cardboard. The film follows the trail of these endangered insects from Mexico to Quebec. The pixels have been cut and assembled into a unique image that makes us aware of the precariousness of animal and plant life.
