Twins born in New York in 1939, artists Joel-Peter and Jerome Witkin are, respectively, a photographer and a painter. Although they are both involved in creative work, they are very different, both personally and artistically. This intimate portrait traces the childhood, development, and careers of these two fascinating men. A reflection on life, love, loss, and distance, the documentary offers a marvellous insight into the artistic expression of unique creators who, despite completely different approaches, are troublingly close.
