Ella Wright is an acclaimed filmmaker with a diverse portfolio spanning drama, documentary, and commercial projects. Her directorial debut, “Stage Changers,” garnered international recognition and nominations at prestigious festivals and awards ceremonies. Additionally, Ella co-produced the documentary “Candidate Games,” which received nominations for Best Documentary. Her short film, “George Jones and the Giant Squid,” earned accolades at Palm Springs International ShortFest and other prominent festivals. Ella’s collaborative work extends to projects with Rotterdam-based artist Pilar Mata Dupont and music videos for various artists. With extensive experience in production across multiple genres, Ella continues to contribute to notable programs and projects. Currently, she is directing a documentary funded by ABC Arts and Screenwest while also developing a television series for pre-school children.
