Corps et Âme
Amaury Voslion
Body and Soul looks at multidisciplinary French artist Jean-Luc Verna (1966 – ). Illustrator, dancer, choreographer, singer, performer, and poet, he is both figure and a body — at once artist and artwork. Verna unveils his self-sculpture coyly, sharing a truly intimate narrative while remaining firmly within the bounds of grace. Brimming with raw feeling, this visual depiction of emotion invites viewers to let their guard down, and watch without judgment. The film is in the image of the artist himself: sombre, tumultuous, and provocative.
