Cut to Bliss: Force of Fashion
Moree Wu
This animated short film is the graduate thesis for an MFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Moree Wu’s project takes a fresh look at fashion as a way to express female empowerment. The strong visual language used by the Chinese-born filmmaker replaces the narrative with sensitive, rhythmic geometry and abstraction.
