Der Stehgeiger, le violoniste debout
Sébastien Ventura
Vienna has produced some of the greatest classical composers and musicians in history. It is in this musical city that Sébastien Ventura follows the Quebec violinist Alexandre Da Costa as he records a unique album with the Vienna Symphony. The young musician upsets the conventions of this mythical orchestra with his innovative arrangements. And resurrects an old-fashioned manner of conducting, in the style of Johann Strauss. Da Costa describes his attachment to the Austrian city, where he studied, as well as his vision of classical music and the profession of violinist.
