Panel | De la gratuité des contenus culturels en ligne : rencontre avec le secteur de la diffusion

*** This panel will be in French only ***

Over the past year, the pandemic has changed our relationship to arts and culture. Content distribution platforms have been created or augmented to provide increased access to the arts, whether for free or in hybrid or paid formats.

When the pandemic comes to an end, what will the future hold for online content distribution? Will free content lead to better accessibility? Is free access a viable model for distribution platforms? What about a hybrid approach?

We will attempt to shed light on these topics with the help of Yannick Cimon Mattar (lepointdevente), Pierre Des Marais (Danse Danse), Luc Fortin (Guilde des Musiciens et Musicennes du Québec), and Xavier Inchauspé (Orange Noyée), all of whom are involved in arts distribution. The host will be André Courchesne, adjunct professor to the Carmelle and Rémi-Marcoux Chair in Arts Management, HEC Montréal

This panel will be available from March 25, 2021 at 12:00pm on our Youtube, Facebook, and LinkedIn channels.
