Trailer
Enjoy the first feature-length documentary about the world-famous French mime Marcel Marceau. Audiences know and love him as Bip, the tragicomic clown with a striped shirt, a face covered with white make-up, and a battered silk hat with a red flower. But not many people know his tragic background. After his Jewish father was killed in Auschwitz, Marceau joined the French Resistance and help smuggle Jewish children across the Swiss border to safety. He taught them to communicate silently in dangerous situations by miming with gestures. After the war, Marceau transformed this tool for survival into a unique art form that lives on to this day, years after his death.
