Les Pèlerins de Bouge

A journey into the world of Les Pèlerins de Bouge, a theatre company that strives to establish a dialogue between two worlds. Consisting of 90 people, some of whom are patients in psychiatric institutions and centres, Les Pèlerins de Bouge are more of a social and artistic community than a company. In Gaëtan Leboutte’s human and poetic film, there are no interviews, only real-life moments that show the balance and joy people with mental illness have found through theatre. Through contact with others, which is the main aim of this theatre project, everyone grows through the shared experience.
