This documentary on the creation and rehearsals of La Grande Fugue, a dance performance presented by the Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon, unveils the work of American choreographer Lucinda Childs. With sensitivity and generosity, Childs explores the numerous possibilities of a choreographic phrase, applying her minimalist style to Beethoven’s music.
