Ludovic
Ludovic Tézier is today one of the greatest baritones in the world. Behind this major voice of opera, both backstage and in everyday life, is a simple man, passionate about his art, but also his wife, Cassandre Berthon, a soprano. From the most prestigious stages to the intimacy of their home, from rehearsals to masterclasses, both the demands of interpretative work and the depth of soul that inhabits him are revealed. Driven by his natural humanity and the strength of his love, Ludovic unveils what makes Tézier’s voice exceptional.

René Paul Letzgus

At the age of 17, René Paul Letzgus left his Alsatian village with a vocational training certificate in electro-mechanics and travelled the world working for a development aid organisation. After becoming a works engineer and then a trainer, he returned to university in his thirties to write his dissertation on cinema. At the same time, he set up L’Alpha, an arthouse cinema in the Strasbourg suburbs, followed by two others in the city centre in the early 1980s, during which time he also hosted a radio programme dedicated to arthouse cinema. Driven by his passion, he set up his own production company, Star Production. It wasn’t until the late 90s that he dared to take the plunge himself, and then into documentary filmmaking. In the 2000s, keen to develop a real cinema offering in rural areas, he opened two complexes in Alsace. Passionate about human adventures, a lover of art and football, and tirelessly curious, René Paul Letzgus has written his life and his filmography through a series of powerful encounters.
