NARRATIVE is an experimental video reflecting interests in colour-field abstract painting and language. It consists of still images, composed in Windows Movie Maker, involving the recurring word ‘and’ set against monochromatic backgrounds. Both the text and the backgrounds shift colours, with background colour shifts introduced by means of pixilated dissolves, which, in turn, introduce secondary (and other) colours, all leading into further abstraction.
