Who are today’s avant-garde sound artists and where do they find their inspiration? From London to Baltimore, from Paris and Malmö, the French duo KIZ films encounters with famous “soundhunters” such as the British “master of samples” Matthew Herbert, the American group Matmos and its variable geometry, French composer Chassol, one-man-band Cosmo Sheldrake in London, Jean-Michel Jarre and Blixa Bargeld, a founding member of the Einstürzenden Neubauten, pioneers of industrial music.
