By showcasing artists from near and far, the International Festival of Films on Art confirms the creativity and innovation of Montréal’s cultural ecosystem.

As unique as it is eclectic, this festival is an essential opportunity to discover the very best in art, not only here at home, but around the world.

In addition to promoting rich and original discoveries, the event encourages exchanges and encounters, and facilitates the promotion of new works.

FIFA is as much a part of the cinematic vitality of our cultural metropolis as it is of the international reputation of Montréal artists.

I’d like to thank the organizers for keeping this festival at the forefront of Montréal’s cultural scene for 42 years now.

I congratulate you on the excellence of your work, which reaches out to Montrealers and people around the world.
