Consentir à
An actress finds herself trapped by an algorithm that hijacks clips from her films and distributes them on adult websites. After months of feeling helpless, she decides to take back control of her own story, using her imagination to heal and reclaim her identity.

Consentir à serves as a poetic response to a patriarchal society, addressing themes such as consent, femininity, religion, and sexuality. Through a montage of images, the filmmaker explores the contradictions of the female experience while asserting her own artistic vision. A sensitive and inventive essay that tackles a contemporary issue with originality.

In the presence of director Agathe Féoux on March 13th in Montreal and on March 14th in Quebec City.

Warning : The sensitive subject of this film may not be suitable for a young audience.

Agathe Feoux

Agathe Feoux is an artist and journalist from Auvergne, region of France. With a background in drama and journalism, she quickly turned to interdisciplinary thinking, crossing fields such as cognitive science, mindfulness and contemporary art. Her curiosity for the workings of the human brain led her to explore the ways in which art can foster awareness of self and others.
She has collaborated with renowned institutions such as the Palais de Tokyo and the Centre Pompidou, where she has designed immersive and inclusive experiences, inviting visitors to reconnect with works of art through sensory and introspective processes.
A protean and deeply inclusive artist, Agathe explores the limits of traditional media to imagine visual and experimental narratives that defy convention. Her artistic approach draws on her commitment to gender equality and diversity of voices, while creating spaces for dialogue and reflection.
