This film is part of the program OFFFFFFFIFFFFFFFA — Vertige de l’après demain.

Enjoy your Crappacino!! It’s artfully tortured. How do I even order this at Starbucks? You could feel the same after three consecutive Red Bulls, either way a true staccato brain fry is on the menu today. The concept of glitch is alive and well and the interruption of supposed logic” of our shit eating consumerism is a fantastic nobody all time past time! Made for the future with an ultraviolent vibrating platform powered by a Sawsaw in the studio of David Nobody in 2022 in Brooklyn, NY. Edition of 150 for 10 Tez each- this edition is affordable, inclusive and punk-powered by the people!

David Nobody

David Nobody is a NYC performance artist and sculptor with a 30 year deep repertoire in the art world, weird undergrounds, and 147k followers on Instagram as @davidhenrynobodyjr. David is known for diverse bodies of performative work while in character in a wide array of mediums. His work which he calls Fantastic Nobody, marches to the beat of its own drum, often mixing art and life, and blurring boundaries. The creations have ranged from pure invention like the Human Weeble Wobble in the mid 90s, to more critical interventionist performances like rolling out a Red Carpet when no one was coming in 98, to Stalking Donald Trump for a year undercover in 99 and predicting the Trump presidency.

David’s first solo show in 2000 was photographic documentation of a year of VIP party crashing posing as scion Alex Vonfurstenberg in a $20 vintage suit. Sixty photos were exhibited and became a scandal in the media, appearing on the front page of The New York Observer, tabloids like the Globe and on national TV with ABC 20/20.

His work has gone on to embrace its predictive arc into tech and the internet and echo its themes and dilemmas/consumerism into wearable performative sculptures which he calls Resemblagè. In the last years he has been involved in Web, selling his work as NFTs on the blockchain, while continuing with live performances and physical gallery solo exhibitions and installations.
