Béatrice Camurat-Jaud

A natural performer, Béatrice Camurat became a Petit Rat” at the age of 8 and stayed at the Paris Opera until she was 13. Her passion for dance led her to climb the ranks and become a soloist with the contemporary dance company, Ballet Théâtre Joseph Russillo. She discovered the world during her adolescence, performing on stages around the globe. She then pursued acting training with Blanche Salant and Jack Waltzer. Between 1981 and 1996, she appeared in 25 films and television roles, collaborating with well-known actors such as Patrick Dewaere, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Pierre Richard, and Gérard Lanvin. In 1986, she was deeply affected by environmental issues, and in 1992, she began working with Jean-Paul Jaud on documentary production. Since 2012, Béatrice Camurat Jaud has dedicated herself to the production and distribution of films directed by Jean-Paul Jaud. She has remained faithful to her roots as a performer, wishing to communicate, evoke feelings, and move her audience. In recent years, she has taken on directing her own films, sharing what truly impacts her with the public.
