This film will be presented during the La Nuit de la danse event on March 21st, 2025 at Théâtre Outremont.
Created by an artist with a unique aesthetic, this work immerses us in the luminous universe of ElleX, an androgynous being with a slender body, moving through a suspended world beneath a shower of bright comets. As the ground tilts, her body releases glowing pearls, a hidden vital substance. Unbalanced, ElleX embarks on a pilgrimage through the confined space of her world, with the pearls transforming into ElleY, her clone.
The two replicas engage in an intense sensory exchange, sharing energy and pleasure, transforming into luminous flowers on a white canvas. At the end of their dance, they reveal their essence of light and vital energy.

Valeria Galluccio est réalisatrice, chorégraphe et danseuse, une figure remarquable sur la scène internationale de la danse contemporaine depuis de nombreuses années. Après des débuts en 2008 à la Biennale de Venise en tant que soliste avec Ismael Ivo, elle rejoint en 2011 la Compagnie Marie Chouinard à Montréal. À partir de 2019, elle approfondit son expérience dans les productions multimédias, se consacrant à la réalisation et créant des œuvres qui unissent la danse et le langage cinématographique. Valeria explore le cinéma immersif avec le film de danse en réalité virtuelle “Tavata”(2022), accueilli avec succès au festival FIKA(S).
En 2023, elle fait ses débuts en tant que réalisatrice, chorégraphe et interprète de “LUCE”, un court-métrage expérimental intense qui reçoit des prix dans des festivals internationaux, notamment le Premier Prix au Cinedanza Festival, le Meilleur Film d’Art au San Francisco Dance Film Festival 2024, le Prix Creativity au DDFF et le Prix “Marilena Riccio” à l’Immagina International Dance Festival. Ces distinctions confirment Valeria Galluccio comme une force motrice sur la scène artistique de la danse contemporaine.
