Mireia Gubern Badia
Director CaixaForum+
Graduated in Humanities at the Pompeu Fabra University and Postgraduate in Museums and Education at the University of Barcelona, Mireia Gubern Badia has worked at “la Caixa” Foundation with different responsibilities since 2000 and until 2021 she was the Head of Contents of the Art Exhibitions Department. Currently she is the Director of CaixaForum+, the new FVOD platform on cultural and scientific contents.
Among the years, she has collaborated with international museums and art galleries around the world as a responsible for the coproductions and the organisation of art exhibitions, and now she continues working on that field, increasing the international partnerships in the search for new audiovisual contents for the platform, as well as new commissioning new audiovisual productions.
Layane Chawaf
Head of Cinema Arab World Institute
Born in Aleppo, Syria, Layane Chawaf moved to Paris in 1981. Passionate about cinema, she joined the team at the Arab World Institute in 1992, after studying French Literature and Civilization, linguistics, and translation. As administrator and coordinator of the Arab Cinema Biennial in Paris (1992−2006), she contributed to all activities of the cinema department: screenings, premieres, festivals, round tables, symposiums, etc. Since 2013, she has been the Cinema Manager and General Delegate of the Arab Cinemas Festival, which held its first edition from June 28 to July 8, 2018.
She also coordinated and contributed to the writing of all cinema publications at the Arab World Institute, including “Egypt, One Hundred Years of Cinema” (Plume Editions, 1995). She has served on several festival juries and collaborated on the film programming of numerous festivals.
Silvia de Felice
Head of art projects in the cultural department Rai Radiotelevisione Italiana
Silvia De Felice has worked in the documentary business for twenty years and is now the Chief Editor of Arts Programming and commissioning editor for the slot Art Night, which she developed and has been running from its inception. Her unshakable passion for documentary blends together with her love for art. While her biggest passion is photography, she shows the same level of care and involvement into all her projects.
Art Night is a weekly prime time slot produced by RAI Cultura, the cultural Unit of Italian public broadcaster RAI, that covers art in every form: from prehistoric cave paintings to contemporary art. It offers to Italian audience the best of both international documentaries and original productions.
Silvia started working for RAI in 2007, and for years before that was an independent documentary producer, mostly dealing with co-productions with the most important European broadcasters.
She is a member of the jury of various photography prizes and documentary festivals and has been on the jury of the David di Donatello Italian Cinema Award for fifteen years.
Edward Humphrey
Chief Executive Officer Marquee TV
Edward Humphrey is CEO of Marquee TV. He has over two decades of experience in digital innovation and leadership in the film and TV industry, with a focus on building and growing streaming services. He led the launch and growth of renowned international film platform BFI Player and has advised on streaming strategy for a wide range of European broadcasters. Previous roles include Director of Digital Distribution at Disney, SVP Digital at Zodiak Media (now Banijay) and Head of Digital at Virgin Media TV. Humphrey is also a Trustee and Non-Executive Director of several organizations, including the Foundling Museum.
Bruno Dequen
Editor-in-Chief Revue 24 images
Bruno Dequen is the editor-in-chief of the cinema magazine 24 images. From 2011 to 2021, he also worked at the RIDM (Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal), first as a programmer and then as artistic director starting in 2015. From 2007 to 2015, he taught cinema and worked as an associate producer on documentary series.

Laura Trisorio
Owner and director | Founder Studio Trisorio art gallery | Artecinema film festival
Laura Trisorio is the owner and director of the Studio Trisorio art gallery, established by her family in 1974. The gallery runs international program showing, among others, artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Daniel Buren, Jan Fabre, Rebecca Horn, Christiane Löhr and Martin Parr. In 1996 Laura founded Artecinema, the international festival of documentary films on contemporary art, which takes place annually in Naples, and has reached its 29th edition. She has also curated numerous exhibitions in public venues such as the Capodimonte Museum in Naples and numerous reviews of documentary films on contemporary art and architecture around the world.
In 2013, under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, she was awarded the Poerio-Imbriani Prize for her distinguished contribution to the cultural promotion of the city of Naples. In 2017 she was awarded the “Masaniello — Napoletani protagonisti” Prize as an eminent representative of Neapolitan culture and identity in the world. For the Artecinema Festival, she was awarded several medals of representation from the President of the Italian Republic.
Gavin Humphries
Managing Director NOWNESS
Gavin Humphries is Managing Director of global online arts and culture video platform NOWNESS, part of London based Dazed Media and Meta Media in China. Based between London, Shanghai and Hong Kong, Nowness commissions numerous films each year both editorially and in partnership with international cultural partners and brands.
The Nowness creative community includes its founder Jefferson Hack, Björk, Jenn Nkiru, Es Devlin, Luca Guadagnino, Crystal Moselle, Benjamin Millepied, Baloji and Cao Fei. Several Nowness commissions have premiered at international festivals, including Sundance, Tribeca, BFI London, Shanghai, Rotterdam and Clermont Ferrand.
Himself a BAFTA and BIFA nominated producer, Gavin’s worked on film, television and digital projects with the British Film Institute, Google, Film4, Tate Modern, the Young Vic Theatre and the BBC. His productions have premiered at Venice Film Festival; been shortlisted for the Evening Standard Film Awards; nominated for 3 British Independent Film Awards as well as by the London Critics’ Circle; and four of his short films have premiered Sundance with one winning at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight.
Jaume Ripoll

Jaume Ripoll is the co-founder and CCO Filmin, the most prominent streaming platform for independent films and series in Spain and Portugal, founded 17 years ago. Named Top 30 Vanity Fair Most Influential Spanish People in Film Industry in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Filmin was the first SVOD service in Europe, since then it has been awarded as the Most Relevant Cultural Company in Spain in the last three years. With a catalog of over 15,000 titles, Filmin is a European reference for the breadth and quality of its collection. It is the distributor in Spain for the latest winners of the Venice (All the beauty and the bloodshed), Berlin (On the adamant), and Cannes (Anatomy of a fall) festivals. Jaume Ripoll serves as a producer for Filmin Originals, the successful original productions of Filmin, which include “Autodefensa” (Best Series, SeriesMania Lille and SerienCamp). Since 2010, Jaume Ripoll has been directing the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest, the most successful hybrid festival in Europe, with the last edition surpassing 750,000 spectators. In addition to his work as a university professor, Jaume Ripoll has just published with great success his memoir, “Videoclub” (Penguin Random House).

Evelynne de la Chenelière
Author and Actress
Writer and actress, Evelyne de la Chenelière is a prominent figure in the Quebecois stage and contemporary dramaturgy.
Her plays, translated and staged in Quebec and Canada as well as elsewhere in the world, explore the boundaries of language and the experience of writing. In 2017, she was a finalist for the Siminovitch Prize for Excellence and Innovation in Canadian Theatre, and in 2018 she received the distinction of Knight of the Arts and Letters from the French Republic.
Among her works, “La vie utile,” created at Espace Go and presented at the Festival TransAmériques in a production by Marie Brassard, received the Marcel Dubé Award from the Academy of Letters of Quebec. “Bashir Lazhar” was adapted into a film by filmmaker Philippe Falardeau, titled “Monsieur Lazhar.” The film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. Her most recent work, “Le traitement de la nuit,” was created by Denis Marleau in Montreal and by Kornelius Eich in Frankfurt in its German translation.
Regularly invited to discuss her practice and the themes running through her work, she has participated as a speaker at various literature and theater festivals in Mexico, Barcelona, Limoges, Toulouse, Paris, Edinburgh, London, Sarrebruck, and Cairo. She has also given masterclasses and participated in symposiums (Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal, University of Munich, Conservatoire de Tours, University of Valencia, University of Madrid, École Normale Supérieure de Paris).
As an actress, she has distinguished herself under the direction of Marie Brassard, Daniel Brière, Jérémie Niel, Brigitte Haentjens, Florent Siaud, Cédric Delorme-Bouchard, and more recently filmmaker Denis Côté.
Evelyne de la Chenelière’s journey is marked by formal exploration and a desire to question live art, both through writing and acting. Her uniqueness makes her an artist who defies expectations. She is present in major institutions in Quebec and abroad, but also in the secrecy of their margins.
Youssef Shoufan
Photographer, director, author and host
Youssef Shoufan is a photographer, director, author, and presenter born in Damascus and based in Montreal. It is through his encounters and travels that he captures portraits, places, and moments to tell stories. His practice is rooted in cultural, artistic, and social environments.
Léane Labrèche-Dor
Actress
Since graduating from National Theater School, Léane Labrèche-Dor has walked the boards of several stages: the Jean-Duceppe Theatre in Les muses orphelines, of the Espace Go in the play Villa Dolorosa, and of the Theatre d’Aujourd’hui, in Annick Lefebvre’s creation J’accuse. From 2016 to 2019, she traveled around Quebec with the show On t’aime Mickaël Gouin.
On television, Léane played Charlène in 30 vies and Fanny in Camping de l’Ours. She was also one of the regulars in the very popular sketch show SNL Québec and its sequel, Le Nouveau Show. Léane is one of the four headliners of the comedy series Les Magnifiques, she also takes on the role of Camille the psychologist in Cérébrum, as well as the one of Sandrine in the second season of Pour toujours, plus un jour. In addition, she embodies Valérie Côté in Escouade 99, an adaptation of the popular American show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. She moves us in her vivid interpretation of Laurie in Haute démolition.
She worked on multiple web projects such as Sylvain, le magnifique, 7$ par jour, Le Frigidaire and La règle de 3. She also co-hosted La vie n’est pas un magazine, joined by Catherine Trudeau.
Léane also takes on several feature films including Julie Hivon’s Qu’est ce qu’on fait ici, Guillaume Lambert’s Les scènes fortuites, and Sophie Dupuis’ critically acclaimed Chien de Garde. In 2020, Léane defended the first role in the film Le Rire, directed by Martin Laroche, and was nominated at the Gala Quebec Cinema for her performance. In 2022, she played Valérie in Lignes de fuite by Catherine Chabot and Myriam Bouchard. The next year, she held the lead role in Anik Jean’s first feature length film, Les hommes de ma mère.
