Jean-François Tatin
Jean-François Tatin studied documentary filmmaking at the Ateliers Varan. He is also interested in music — in 1996 he created the Electroshop program broadcast by Radio Campus. He has directed videos, commercials (Audi, Lacoste, Mini Cooper), off-beat portraits of writers and musicians for France 2, Paris Première and ARTE, as well as documentaries: Premiers Plans (2002) on home-studio filmmakers; Baikal (2003) on a catastrophic tour operator in Siberia; and Luis Life, currently in production, on a wrongfully convicted Native American.
Une vie en prison (2017), Campus (2005−2006), Baikal (2003), Premiers Plans (2002).
