Une joie secrète
Jérôme Cassou
In 2015, in the wake of the shocking Charlie-Hebdo attack, choreographer Nadia Vadori-Gauthier was faced with a climate of violence and sadness. She decided to stay standing and to dance, one minute each day, filming herself and sharing her videos on social networks. The project Une minute de danse par jour, which has continued for four years now, is intended to be an act of poetic resistance that ceaselessly distils an infinitesimal measure of softness despite the hardness of the world. As a choreographic road movie, this documentary follows Vadori-Gauthier on her luminous, inspired wanderings.
