This documentary explores the creative process of Colombian sculptor Hugo Zapata (born 1945). Cantos de piedra is the portrait of an artist who uses fate, sensitivity, and amazement as tools to seek traces of planetary vital forces in stones, transforming and appropriating them, but never depriving them of their natural qualities.
