Christopher Charles Benninger is an American architect who has shaped India since 1971. Etienne Desrosiers’s new film will take you on an immersive journey through eight of Benninger’s most notable projects, including India House, his home and studio. Discover how he brought his bold visions to life through the daily lives of the residents. Diplômé en Communications et Littérature comparée, Etienne Desrosiers a réalisé depuis 1995 quinze films primés et projetés dans cent cinquante festivals internationaux. Ils incluent “Roger D’Astous” et “Miroirs d’été” avec Xavier Dolan. Producteur de films (“House for Sale” de Eija Marjara), il est commissaire d’art médiatique (Rétrospectives François Miron, Lysanne Thibodeau), d’architecture (Luc Durand), et l’auteur des livres “Kantor Anthologie Vidéo” (2017), “Monuments” (2015) et “Itinéraires d’un architecte”(2008). Il a travaillé avec John Maybury (“Love is the Devil”) et Todd Haynes (“I’m Not There”), fut rédacteur pour l’Office nationale du film du Canada, écrit dans Domus Magazine, et organisé la première rétrospective de films situationnistes en Amérique du Nord.
