Convinced of the necessity to preserve ancestral techniques and safeguard cultural practices embodied by fabrics, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior Artistic director, has brought together multiple generations of artisans from Mexico. The transmission of gestures, patterns, and values related to textiles and clothing nurtures a shared vision of the future, accompanied by a flourishing artisanal heritage. Reflecting the inspirations of the Cruise 2024 collection, Dior Metamorphosis, Concealing and Revealing pays tribute to the ties woven with Mexico since the early days of the Maison. The Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso, a symbolic space, intersecting love and creation, where Frida Kahlo studied and met Diego Rivera, served as a privileged setting for the fashion show. A magical moment, timeless, and inhabited by the power of art and exceptional craftsmanship.
