This short film is constructed of 409 artists’ drawings printed on ceramic tiles, brought to life with animation. They depict the course of civilization, poetically illustrating successive patterns of conquest and defeat. The film acts as a gentle reminder of the impermanence of our present state. A concrete medium that traces the history of humanity, the ceramic tiles are now on display at the Luzzati Gardens in Genoa, Italy.
