This documentary recounts the prodigious journey of Swiss-American civil engineer Othmar H. Ammann (18791965) who emigrated to the United States in 1904 and redefined the art of bridge building in America. Marked by the constant and dynamic acceleration of 20th century America, his life, career, and constructions remain breathtaking to this day.
