A tale of destruction as filmed by an ornithology enthusiast and narrated by a warm male voice, reading an excerpt taken from Le Discours aux animaux (A speech to the animals), by author and playwright Valère Novarina, in which he enumerates 1,111 invented bird names. A weeping willow sets the tone on screen as it slowly loses its branches, pitting reality against imagination.
