Four people dig and create a tumulus-like mound on the beach. Each person looks out toward the expansive view across the Pacific Ocean. A figure in black enters the hole in the sand. Between recognition and non-recognition, liminal spaces and alternate temporalities are opened up positing a different kind of embodiment of image and sound, engendering a different kind of looking, listening, and understanding.
