How can architecture provide value to people beyond space? How can it inspire a new way of life? These are the questions that Moshe Safdie attempted to answer by designing the iconic Habitat 67 in Montreal and other residential complexes in Boston (US and Qinhuangdao, (China). The residents share their thoughts about these unusual structures, and Safdie reflects on his vision of a new type of community that combines architecture and nature.
