Danika St-Laurent
Danika St-Laurent is an Ojibwe-Cree (Saulteaux) from Muskowekwan First Nation in Saskatchewan and was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, on December 27th, 1995. She was raised and currently lives in Montreal, Quebec. In January 2020, Danika started beading again and began her small beaded earrings business called Neebageesis Beadwork. She is presently working at Wapikoni Mobile as the Digital Activities Outreach Coordinator and created her first film with the Virtual Studio during the second cohort of the 2021 – 2022 season named We Are Not Speaking the Same Language.
