The International Festival of Films on Art opens its presale box office and unveils the poster for its 43rd edition!
The end-of-year festivities are already underway! The Festival International du Film sur l’Art (FIFA) is pleased to share the preliminary poster for its 43rd edition, to be held from March 13 to 23, 2025 in theatres in Montreal and Quebec City, and from March 21 to 30 online at ARTS.FILM.
This year’s FIFA campaign highlights the transformative power of art and collective union through the theme of metamorphosis and evolution. Montreal designer and art director Joanie Brisebois, in collaboration with artist Laurence Thérien, has developed a creative concept based on the idea that art can change the world and bring us together around this mission. Inspired by the metamorphosis of the butterfly, the visuals explore each phase of transition in an imaginative and emotional way. Rather than opting for a classic figurative representation, the transitions take on an abstract form, combining creative silhouettes and symbolic scenes to tell a vibrant, universal story. The 43rd edition of the Festival International du Film sur l’Art will soon be unveiled with a multitude of films devoted to most artistic disciplines — animation, architecture, contemporary art, dance, design, literature, music, painting, photography — as well as a rich selection of experimental films (FIFA Expérimental), Cartes blanches and special guests, and professional meetings (FIFA Connexions).
