As a special part of the Festival, FIFA Connexions invites national and international presenters and producers, artists and platforms, and festival directors to discuss their distribution and production issues through panels, interviews and talks open to the public!

FIFA Connexions is an opportunity to create contacts and synergies by bringing together players in the field. Through these professional activities, FIFA wishes to cultivate exchanges and partnerships between professionals from here and abroad.

SYMPOSIUM OF ART FILM FESTIVALS
The art film and art film festivals are coming together in Montreal and coming to you. For its 41st edition, FIFA is organising a Symposium of art and art film festivals. A unique opportunity to meet the directors of the following participating festivals: ARCA International Festival of Films on Arts, Uruguay / Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam, The Netherlands / Beirut Art Film Festival, Lebanon / Brussels Art Film Festival, Belgium / DART, Spain / DART, Chile / DOKU ARTS, Germany / EPOS Art Film Festival, Israel / International Festival of Films on Art, Canada / Film and Architecture, Czech Republic / Fotogenia, Mexico / Lo schermo dell’arte, Italy.

THE FIFA GRAND 5 à 7 OF THE 41st
Presented by the Association des Réalisateurs et Réalisatrices du Québec
This cocktail party invites festival representatives from different countries, local and international artists, presenters and cultural producers to come together to celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions in cultural diplomacy.
During the evening, a tribute award will be presented to the Beirut Art Film Festival for outstanding contributions in the field of art. Participants will have the opportunity to network, learn about the cultures and traditions of different countries and strengthen international ties. The evening will be an unforgettable moment to celebrate cultural diversity and positive contributions to cultural diplomacy.

INSPIRING WOMEN IN THE CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT: CROSS-REFERENCES ON WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP
Presented by the Caisse Desjardins de la Culture
Join us for a meeting, moderated by Marine Thomas, editor-in-chief of Les Affaires, in which Misstress Barbara (DJ and producer), Leslie Dabit (Head of Development and Content Producer at Périphéria), Amandine Gay (director, producer and author) and Carmen Garcia (founder of Argus Films) will take a cross-sectional look at women’s leadership in the cultural, artistic and creative milieu.
Inspiring artists and talented entrepreneurs will share their journey and experiences with us, offering insight into their work and vision for the future. We will explore the issues and challenges facing women leaders and the opportunities available to them. This event will be an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women and to learn from their expertise in order to encourage a more diverse and inclusive future for tomorrow’s leaders.
