Appointment to the Board of Directors of the International Festival of Films on Art

The Board of Directors of the International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sophie De Champlain to the organization as Secretary of the Board.

Sophie De Champlain, Senior Legal Counsel, is no stranger to the creative field as she has been working as legal counsel for Technicolor, animation producer Wildbrain Studio, and for the National Film Board of Canada. Combining her love for art and law, she previously sat on the board of directors for Eastern Bloc, in Montreal, and Western Front, in Vancouver. Sophie has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2012.

On behalf of the Board, President Dr. Nicolas Chevrier welcomes Sophie De Champlain: ​“Sophie is a source of inspiration. Her past involvement with artist-run centers resonates perfectly with the Festival’s objectives.
