Jouer Trailer
Documentary on the colorful and electric universe of the painter and printmaker Kittie Bruneau. This woman takes her place, despite the obstacles, in this very masculine universe, surrounded by Pelland, Borduas, Gauvreau.

From Bonaventure Island to Pointe St-Pierre, The Maloney family, Coin du Banc, Le Chaufaud Museum in Percé. The Gaspé Peninsula with birds, fishes, legends. As her friend Morton Rosengarten notes, her painting blossomed on Bonaventure Island. Kittie has a life in motion. We will see her nomadic side and the countries she has crossed. All this life transpires in her artworks; her biography is in her painting : ” My painting is like my diary, it’s my life I carry it in me “.

A very powerful work, with a strong message. Testimony and memories will be shared. Workshops with Pierre Léon Tétreault in the Gaspé Peninsula. The artistic movements which cross her work like Cobra, La Relève. Those who ensure the continuity of the work. Those who have chosen to acquire Kittie’s artwork. A woman loved and admired by her peers.

This documentary is a window open to the woman and the artist she is. Colorful without filter, she gives herself to us.
