L'enfant qui rêve
Philippe Genty, French author and creator of contemporary theater productions, is now recognized as one of the greatest names in theater and visual arts. Filmmaker Andrés Varela, intrigued by this enigmatic figure, immerses us in Genty’s universe through an artist’s film, exploring his art, aesthetics, and humanity while striving to capture the very essence of his work. Beyond an intimate look at the creative process, this film serves as a source of inspiration for those who seek to turn life’s challenges into stepping stones toward new heights. Carefully filmed, this documentary offers a moving reflection on an artist’s resilience in the face of adversity, as even after a stroke, Genty refuses to abandon his work. His art captivates and reminds us that imagination is a powerful force capable of pushing the boundaries of reality.
